Glenn Beck : 80% incorrect : 100% fraud

I love science.  Science has helped us end many of the great arguments of our society.  Science has helped us end our beliefs in superstitions and replace them with facts.  Science has also helped us catch crooks and determine the truth in criminal activities when testimony turns out to be fraudulent.  Today science has helped prove that Glenn Beck exaggerates by at least 80%.  Glenn Becks statements are fraudulent and science has given us the proof.

In the Rally at the Lincoln Memorial this weekend, Glenn Beck estimated that there were 500,000 people in attendance from every state in the nation.  He flaunted his supposed “god like” popularity to the press at the end of the rally.  After all, being able to get 500,000 people to attend your rally puts you in “rock star” status.

Glenn Beck is NOT a rock star.

Thanks to the science of digital analysis of aerial photography, we now know that the crowd was less than 100,000 people.  That means that Glenn beck exaggerated his claim of stardom by 500%.   If you take into account the number of protesters against Glenn Beck’s racist rally, you are probably below 50,000 people.  That means he most likely exaggerated his claim of stardom by 1000%

Thank you science for exposing the fraud.  Thank you science for exposing the lie.  Thank you science for helping me keep perspective that NOT ALL OF AMERICA IS INSANE.  Most of us are rational.  As long as science can keep proving that the radical right wing organizations like Republicans and the Tea Party are simply lying about the size of their following, there is still hope for our country.
