9/11/2011 : Ten years of fearing a bully

Little Micheal yates was attacked by a bully at the age of 8 while on the bus ride to school one morning. For the next ten years he chose to walk the 1.5 miles to school, avoiding the bus, just to make sure he did not have to confront the bully again.

For ten years now we have put up with insane policies. We are treated in the same manner as prisoners in every public transportation venue simply because we are afraid of a bully. We have our phones tapped, our emails read, and our instant messages monitored by our government, just like criminals, simply to see if they can hear a bully speak. We have had our borders closed to visitors. Our words, our requests to have foreign visitors are now ignored by our government….we have no say in who can visit our families and who cannot.

Another child, Vanessa McNight was threatened by a bully. The next monday she took a gun to class and killed everyone in the classroom.

We have killed over a million people in reaction to the 9/11 tragedy. We have lost tens of thousands of Americans to death or serious injury in our wars. Our wars are now the longest lasting wars in the history of our country. We have become so bloodthirsty that the biggest applause at the Republican debate was for the amount of people that Texas has executed in their prisons.

I don’t fear a bully. I don’t have to put up with the harassment and constant fear pumped into my livingroom by the media. I live in peace and comfort OUTSIDE my own country. I love America. I am so sorry for the loss of life on 9/11, but I am even sadder about the living conditions of the Americans who did not die. Your leaders spent all your money, and all your political clout on prolonged wars that lined their pockets with gold. It is the saddest chapter in the history of America. Not because of the terrorist attack, but because of the immoral way that leaders took advantage of it.

I will never stop talking about how George W. Bush and Dick Cheney used 9/11 to make money. Halliburton made billions from 9/11 and Cheney was its CEO. The Bush family is an oil family. They have had 10 years of Iraqi oil to sell. How much of that money came back to America? ZERO How much of that money went into the Bush family bank accounts? We will never know.

So what is going to happen in the next 10 years? Are we going to heal? No. Rick Perry is a clone of George W. Bush. His job is to milk the last few dollars from the American people and to lead the Christians to their war over Israel. After Bush left office I was hoping that we would avoid that, but now that Obama has not fulfilled his promise to change the course of America by ending the wars, he has opened the door for the next Bush.

Ten years of fearing a tribesman in the middle east.
Ten years of unprecidented intrusion into our private lives
Ten years of unchecked, unregulated government activity internationally
Ten years of money laundering into companies owned by government officials
Ten years of war

I wish I had something better to say about the future of America, but with the popularity of Rick Perry (The most extreme candidate), the future look pretty bleak.
