United States Terror Weapon Now In The Hands Of Terrorists
2011 will be remembered as the year that the United States gave a weapon to terrorists to effectively attack America. It will be remembered as the year we shot ourselves in the foot….literally.
America has been accused of all types of experiments in weapons of mass destruction biological terrorist weapons, but in trying to assess blame on the United States government for producing these horrible creations, they always had plausible deniability. “We are the good guys. We wouldn’t create such an evil thing.”.
A quick search of the Internet show tons of proof of past and present development and use of biological weapons on both enemies and on our own soil.
But now the United States has done something much more ignorant and dangerous. In the new era of Cyber Warfare there is one type of attack that can be used to actually cause physical damage to the enemy. That is the attack on the operating systems and safety systems of nuclear plants, nuclear materials production facilities, and facilities like dams and power plants. The United States built this device and gave it to Israel. Israel used it immediately to infect the plants with centrifuges used to produce nuclear materials.
HERE IS THE PROBLEM! Now that the code for this computer virus has been released, it can be used by anyone!!!!!
We have put the very tool that can cause considerable damage, loss of life and terrible long term consequences into the hands of those who would use it against us.
Stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid. How stupid are we to build such a thing that can be used against us? How stupid are we to entrust it to Israel? Now we are the targets of our own weapon. It is as simple as changing the variables and turning it back on our own power plants, and other dangerous facilities.
An excellent resource for understanding this further is found on TED : Ralph Langner: Cracking Stuxnet, a 21st-century cyber weapon
Once again we find that our greatest enemy is ourselves. We create the horror that haunts us for generations to come. When will America learn that peace is the only answer?
