Gringrich Win Proves GOP Aging Support Base

When the brunt of every political humor joke spoken by comedians across America becomes the frontrunner of the GOP, you know that the Republicans are a fading force in American politics.

The list of Jokes is endless:

And then there is the entire website dedicated to Gingrich jokes.

Besides being the brunt of everyone’s, he is also has a pedigree for lies and corruption that stretches all the way back to 1978!

He is one of the leaders who helped push the “contract with America” that should now be known as the “contract HIT on America” because it destroyed our last tax base and let the deficit run wild.

That was quickly followed by eighty-four ethics charges filed against Gingrich during his term as speaker. After extensive investigation and negotiation by the House Ethics Committee, Gingrich was penalized $300,000 by a 395–28 House vote. It was the first time in history a speaker was disciplined for ethical wrongdoing.

The reason why he is getting votes is because the old voter base of the Republican Party are intentionally dumbed down and ill informed. They are not even in touch with modern reference materials like search engines and Wikipedia.

This is the suicide pill of the Republican Party. Their actions to push agenda and “faith based logic” on their members has now lead to the belief in an ogre of a man who should for all intensive purposes be behind bars for fraud and ethics violations while in office, and most definitely deemed as un-electable.

If he is the opponent of Obama this fall, then the Democratic Party will have no problems with a landslide victory, even with the in-effective current sitting President going for a second term.

How could they be this stupid? That is the question that needs to be answered. The leadership of the Republican Party has raped America for every penny of credit worthiness we have. It has all gone into their pockets. We are left bankrupt. How could smart people like that (regardless of how evil they are), ever consider putting this lame candidate up for election?

That is the question that needs to be answered. Ulterior motives must be considered. Staying out of the White House, and keeping Congress evenly split, and hopelessly deadlocked, must be their overall plan. It gives them plausible dependability while we slide into the bottomless pit of debt and corruption. It gives them decades of living above the law, and fulfilling all their hedonistic pleasures.

The great duplicity of the Republican Party is that it is based in conservatism, but lives the life of excess and extremes.

OR FINALLY…..His list of crimes is so long it actually requires a book:

Newt Gingrich: Capital Crimes and Misdemeanors

Newt Gingrich: Capitol Crimes And Misdemeanors is the most comprehensive compilation of Gingrich’s controversial (and possibly illegal) activities today. The use of nonprofit organizations for political purposes banned by House Rules and federal law, violations of Federal Election Commission rules, and the rather blatant influence peddling all combine to demonstrate that the man who is credited with having brought down the Democrat Speaker of the House, is himself vulnerable to similar treatment. From engineering tort reform that ends consumer rights, to gutting labor laws, scaling back EPA regulations, and escalating attacks on civil liberties, Gingrich is conducting what might accurately be described as a political campaign for corporation influence. Although I can see how you came to your conclusions, I don’t think they’re necessarily accurate. If you look at the exit polls, they indicate Gingrich won by significant margins with all voters over the age of 29. The youngest age group narrowly supported Paul over Gingrich, but the reality is he performed very well with all age groups. He also performed well with all education levels and was only narrowly bested by Romney among those with postgraduate degrees. Most importantly to your conclusion that his victory was due to ill-informed voters in my opinion is that Gingrich got a huge boost from voters that considered the debates to be important or very important, and to be honest, the ill informed or lazy voter isn’t going to take several hours out of their week to watch political debates. With exit polls showing 88% of South Carolina voters saying the debates were important and 73% being under 65, I don’t think the premise for your article is based off the real situation in South Carolina. The data from CNN can be found here: http://www.cnn.com/election/2012/primaries/epolls/sc

I have my own ideas about his success in S.C., some of which I’ve posted about, but I think if they were truly voting based off the lack of information and faith-based reasons you state, Mitt Romney or Rick Santorum would have taken South Carolina in a landslide.
